Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin right by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, or find inspiration. With raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

I can't say enough about Chris and her place. The cabin is cozy and clean. The creek was beautiful & so fun for us and our family. Chris was super nice & responsive, she checked in frequently to see if we needed anything.

Really had a peaceful and restful time here! Loved the cabin and the location :). The outdoor shower was super nice and the availability of a charcoal grill was awesome to be able to cook every meal.

Great host and a beautiful cozy cottage. Our family loved the location and the outside shower and the overall look and feel of the cottage. Chris, the host, is very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure meeting her.

The covered bridge cabin provided a beautiful place to stay. The amenities were just what I needed and the location was perfect. I stayed during one of the most beautiful times of the year with all the leaves turning colors.

Cozy, peaceful cabin in a stunningly beautiful location. Perfect for a retreat. The cabin is clean, comfortable and quiet, and it has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed for one night, but it was cozy and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer, to enjoy the porch and the fire pit more. Chris was an excellent host and was super responsive.

This little cabin was perfect for a solo getaway. While it is small, it also had everything I needed. Cabin was clean and comfortable.
