About this stay

Nothing in the lodge was left untouched during the renovation. It is set up for entire families or groups that love the outdoors but enjoy the amenities of a luxury hotel suite. The lodge is located at the entrance to the Cataract Falls State Recreation Area. A short walk from the front door and your standing at one of the most magnificent water fall features in the Midwest. The lodge has three individual suites with adjoining doors and is perfect for family gatherings, weddings and retreats.

Absolutely beautiful home in a perfect location!!! This will be our spot for all family reunions for years to come. Bill is a superb host and gave us great directions for the best views of the falls.

This place has been curated nicely. It has a warm woodland cottage look and has been decorated appropriately. It’s not flashy or modern but that’s what you’d expect right near a state park.

Bill was very helpful and accommodating. He was very quick to respond to my questions that I had about our stay and was very friendly. The park nearby is beautiful and the space was great and allowed us to spread out a bit.

This place is amazing! If you rent the whole place there is so much space for privacy and communal area! The outside areas were great and peaceful. Bring slippers or socks bc the floors are cold.

The place was great for a large group 12-16. It has nice common areas and nice outdoor spaces. The proximity to the Upper Falls is a big plus. The hike to the Lower Falls is manageable and the view there is great.

Great place to stay! Host very attentive to details and easy to get ahold of. Rental is very clean and well decorated. Private suites with spacious common areas makes for a great space for larger groups.
